Still a fun ride, despite accidentally taking Saltzmann to return to my car, which was parked at…Thurman. And I may or may not have realized this until I reached the Saltzmann gate. In hindsight, I should have known something was amiss when I didn’t see any bikes coming up the other way. Still a fun downhill ride, at least. As the nice hikers I passed on the way down said when they saw me heading back up, “You must really be a masochist!”
