Help me give Lacy a chance at more time and a healthier life

Hi everyone. I’m making this post on behalf of my wife because the last week has been incredibly hard on her emotionally, and right now, her focus is on Lacy.
Lacy is her 9 year old Australian Shepherd and has been by her side through so much over the years. She’s far more than “just a dog” to her. She’s family, emotional support, and one of the most important parts of her life.
About a week ago, vets found a large mass in Lacy’s abdomen. We’re still waiting on full confirmation, but they’ve made it clear this is serious. Her first appointment with a soft tissue surgeon is on May 11, where they’ll do a consult and additional imaging to determine whether the mass has spread.
Regardless of the outcome, Lacy will need surgery to remove the mass.
She’s been doing everything she can to give Lacy the best chance possible, but emotionally and financially, this has been overwhelming.
If you’re able to donate, share this, or even just keep Lacy in your thoughts, it would genuinely mean so much to us.
Thank you.

Hi everyone. I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but I’m asking for help for someone who means everything to me.

My wife has a dog named Lacy a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who has been by her side for years. Lacy isn’t just a pet to her. She’s her emotional support, and honestly, a huge part of her world. If you knew her personally, you know how much this dog means to her and our family.

A few days ago, a large mass was found in her abdomen. We’re still waiting on full confirmation, but the vet has made it clear this is serious. Her first appointment with a soft tissue surgeon is scheduled for May 11, where they’ll do a consult and additional imaging to determine whether the mass has spread.

If it hasn’t, she’ll need surgery to remove it.

I’ve been watching my wife do everything she can just to give Lacy a chance. It’s not easy for her to ask for help, so I’m doing it for her.

If you’re able to donate or even just share this, it would mean a lot to both of us. And if anyone has been through something similar, any advice emotionally or financially would really be appreciated.
