I think we can all agree it's a miracle that Keiko survived this episode. That is by far the craziest and silliest thing anybody has done in the Monsterverse, and she should be 100% dead lol.
It was good of them to remind us that Cate is a science teacher. They need to lean into that hard for next season so she isn't just unlocking doors and running around. Turning her into this show's MacGyver would be awesome. As for Kentaro, he's still annoying, but his explanation to Cate made more sense, so I can at least understand his descent into madness.
May and Tim, no notes. Both were great. I like how they work together.
I wonder if Wyatt Russell is going to be back for next season. They could have milked his time in Axis Mundi for a full season and had some sort of twist at the end where the guy he was talking to on the radio turned out to have been his future self the entire time, and that he was keeping himself from making contact with Keiko. But Bill is gone and Keiko is in the future now, so there really isn't anything left to say about the past anymore. It did feel like them coming face to face was a nice way for him to exit the show.
I'm excited about Rodan next season, Monarch 2.0 and Kentaro and Isabel getting lost in Axis Mundi and regretting everything. Great place to end the season.
