Season 2 acting and dialogue?

So I watched season 1 last year and it was good. I just started season 2 and have only made it through episode 1. It is probably some of the worst acting and dialogue I’ve ever seen in an Apple TV show. It’s almost shocking at how bad it is and I skipped some scenes because it was so terrible. My question is…does it get better as season two goes on?

Hey everyone,

If you’re searching for the best IPTV service in 2026, you already know how frustrating it is. The market is flooded with “top IPTV providers” that look good at first… then crash during the exact moment you need them (usually live sports 😅).

After spending 6+ months testing different IPTV services, I finally narrowed it down to two providers that actually deliver consistently:

👉FIRESTREAM 👉 STREAMNAS

This post is for anyone looking for a reliable IPTV subscription that works in real-world conditions—not just marketing hype.

Why Most IPTV Services Are Terrible in 2026

Let’s be real—the IPTV space is overcrowded right now.

Most “best IPTV providers” fail because of:

  • Constant buffering during big matches
  • Channels randomly disappearing
  • Fake “4K” streams (just stretched HD)
  • Zero customer support when things break

That’s why I tested every IPTV service based on:

  • Stability (especially during live sports)
  • Streaming quality (real FHD / 4K IPTV)
  • Channel variety (US, UK, Canada, sports, PPV)
  • Support responsiveness

⭐ 1- FIRESTREAM

I started with TIVOROTV, and honestly, it quickly became my daily driver.

Channel Selection

  • 10,000+ live channels
  • US, UK, Canada & international content
  • Full sports coverage (NFL, NBA, UFC, football, PPV)

The biggest difference? Channels actually stay online—which is rare these days.

Streaming Quality

  • Real 4K IPTV streams (not fake upscaling)
  • High-bitrate Full HD
  • Smooth playback, even during sports

If you’ve used low-quality IPTV before, you’ll immediately notice the upgrade.

VOD Library

  • Huge movie & series catalog
  • Fast updates for new releases
  • Multi-language content

It easily replaces multiple streaming platforms.

Performance

  • Very stable during peak hours
  • Minimal buffering
  • Optimized streams (H264 / H265)

Support

  • Fast replies
  • Real human support
  • Actually solves issues

2- STREAMNAS

I also tested PIWTV, and it’s honestly one of the best IPTV services that I tested.

Why PIWTV Stands Out

  • Strong uptime and stability
  • Great sports performance
  • Solid channel lineup
  • Works perfectly with apps like TiviMate & IPTV Smarters

Some users even prefer it over others depending on location/server routing.

IPTV Apps & Compatibility

Both TIVOROTV and PIWTV work with:

  • Firestick (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters)
  • Android & iOS
  • Smart TVs (Samsung, LG)
  • Windows & Mac

Setup is quick using Xtream Codes API—takes less than 2 minutes.

EPG & User Experience

  • Accurate TV guide (~95%)
  • Easy navigation
  • Smooth interface with premium apps

Feels very close to traditional cable (but way cheaper).

Pros & Cons (Honest Take)

Pros

✔ Stable and reliable IPTV services
✔ Real 4K & high-quality streams
✔ Huge channel + VOD libraries
✔ Works on all devices
✔ Responsive support

Cons

✖ Requires good internet (30–50 Mbps for 4K)
✖ Too many channels (you’ll need favorites)

Final Verdict: Best IPTV Service in 2026?

After testing multiple providers, I can confidently say:

👉 FIRESTREAM = Best overall IPTV service
👉 STREAMNAS= Excellent alternative / backup

If you’re searching for:

  • Best IPTV
  • Best IPTV service
  • Best IPTV provider
  • Reliable IPTV subscription

These two are among the few that actually deliver consistently in 2026.

💡 Pro tip: Always start with a short-term plan and use a premium app like TiviMate for the best experience.

The director of monarch

So they just killed her in one go and never mentioned her again outside of saying she's dead to the pilot waiting for her. Granted I don't remember a great deal about her from the last season. I don't remember if she was a good or a bad character but I do remember she was quite prominent. I was sort of surprised they just killed her off like that, was the actress not available for the season? I find it bizarre as well how nobody mentioned her after her death, especially cait who essentially killed her. It was basically "the director is dead" "oh no! anyway"

Why didn't Suzuki tell Hiroshi of Bill's motivations?

(Spoilers for season 2)

Hiroshi obviously grew up thinking that Bill had abandoned him, either not loving him because he wasn't his blood or that Hiroshi might've done something wrong to drive him away.

Season 2 reveals what Bill's motives were, but also shows that Suzuki was apparently good friends with Hiroshi and that Suzuki maintained contact with Billy up until the late 1960's -- seemingly knowing what Billy's real motives were.

So why didn't Suzuki tell Hiroshi that? That might have helped Hiroshi work through a lot of resentment if he knew Bill at least believed his Mother was alive.

My guesses are

-- Bill never did tell Suzuki his actual motive. When Suzuki told him to stop chasing the family he lost, it wasn't intended to be literal. That said, even if not literal, telling Hiroshi that it had less to do with him and more to do with the loss of Keiko/Lee might've helped him.

-- Suzuki did try to tell Hiroshi, but Hiroshi tends to be a bit of a buzzkill when his Father is brought up, so Hiroshi might've just shut it down pretty fast.

-- Suzuki did tell Hiroshi, but it didn't change anything. Just as Cate's resentment towards Hiroshi was simply an extension of how much she hated herself for her own failings, Hiroshi was doing the same thing to Bill. After all, he had footage of Bill's last recording, showing that Bill did view Hiroshi as his son -- which would debunk one of Hiroshi's fears, but he seems even more hostile towards Bill's memory in season 2 than in season 1.

There are admittedly a lot of blind spots in Hiroshi's life. He seemed to cut off Shaw almost immediately in the 1980's, but Shaw says it had been about 10 years since he last saw him and he knew of Kentaro's existence, so presumably Hiroshi did maintain contact with Shaw for awhile before they had a falling out. I doubt the writers will ever address a lot of it, but I guess it's kind of fun to speculate over lol

Monarch - Legacy of Monsters season 2 monster screen time is incredible

So, the total monster screen time (both titans and superspecies) in Monarch Legacy of Monsters (and I mean, counting only seconds where the monsters are actually on screen, not the whole monster sequences) is actually very high: 40 minutes.

It's the same monster screen-time of Godzilla vs Kong, and this makes the season the second highest Monsterverse product in terms of Monster screen time. It almost doubled "King of the Monsters", it's more than "Kong - Skull Island" and tripled both "Godzilla 2014" and the first season.

And with a much lower budget of 100 millions!

And most of the time the CGI quality is actually some of the best of the Monsterverse.

It's very impressive for a tv show. For me, this season found the best balance between monster action and human drama. Five episodes focused on titan action (episode 1, 2, 8, 9, 10), four more focused on humans (3, 5, 6, 7), one thriller episode (4), but at least one-two monster sequences for each episode.

Did Billy think Shaw was still alive?

Spoilers if you haven't finished season 2.

We know that Billy believed Keiko was possibly still alive from the beginning, but we don't know if he thought the same about Lee.

I assume so, but he certainly didn't ever comment on it. While he clearly still loved Keiko in spite of the affair, we have no idea if he held any affection for Lee after learning of it. When Suzuki references him, Bill grows angry, but his anger might not have had anything to do with Lee specifically.
