Is there any Github community or anything that deals with Packet Tracer bugs?? like they have this new version 901 which breaks the web broswers in pc now as you turn on a web brower the whole things crashes!!

before that they have that stupid but in 900 where they just make the text lighter than the background now you can't see anything thats written on a white background.

because of this now I have to keep on going back to 822 the only stable version till now I find!!

Anyone who knows how to edit IGI 1 files can you tell me how do I change my health a certain level of my choice, I use Hex Editor Neo if its possible then tell me how to do it in this!! I am trying a 0hp challenge where my health is set to 1 and I have to beat the whole mission, till now i used to find ways to get to 0 hp like using grenades or getting melee attack from guards this way I would reach 0 but it seems impossible to maintain that!! and sometimes the thing is uneven too!!

Great news guys, got my official Cert today from Cisco, didn't expect me to have it at the first attempt but yes I got it!!, I did posted about my final moments before the exam which is this one!! If you guys have anything to say then I will always appreciate that.

But really if I say, then I don't feel any excitement or something, I will say CCNA was really easy and somewhere inside I feel like I got the cert but its not a huge thing for me!! I don't know where this specific thing is coming from but I really feel like mostly I had a good luck in the exam. I never expected me to pass in my first attempt but I did still I feel like its not a big achievement!!

I scheduled my exam 24th this month and I I am not here to talk about the exam, I am asking what I should do after that, is CCNA alone for me to land an internship and then a job?? I am currently starting with CCNP (ENCOR) 350-401 from Jeremy. Right now I feel like I am wasting a lot of time cause I don't find anything to do all day, so I want to make my CV strong and other course anyone suggests?? related to networking or completely different?? I can do parallel to ENCOR??

I am a person who dreams big but I don't know how to acheive that, I was unsure about things when I came to know about CCNA and found it to be my perfect subject I can complete without any problems. But now I am lost again what should I do and what not I have no idea. What skills should I learn and everything that can help me gain a base in life.

I already asked this a few times in reddit and different users did helped me with sharing their experience and thoughts. But I am a bit nervous about a few things, regarding the actual exam. I want to know how good my scrores are cause, consecutively seeing 4 "FAILS" in the exams I give drastically brings the confidence down.

Mostly because looking at the pattern of their question and me answering I came upto the conclusion that they are a hell lot of tricky questions and even if you miss a single word, you miss the correct answer!! I am not counting the off topic questions there were a few, but still!!

I took 5 exams till today and passed in the first and failed the rest 4 its really demotivating to see this, thats why I want justification. The scores are:

EXAM A: 85.1%
EXAM B: 77%
EXAM C: 78.4%
EXAM D: 82.4%
EXAM E: 78.4%

I just passed the first one.

Mostly I got incorrect answers because they go really deep asking a question! I am well confident about most of the topics but I find it hard to asnwer sometimes cause I mistake a word and think about something else!!

Someone tell me, do that ask this type of questions in the actual exam, those tough and tricky one that can catch you off guard!! Or I am just overthinking!!

Following Jeremy, I studied the whole ccna course, and now I am just taking some time to take practice test from boson and wrap up for the exams!! I booked my exams at 24th this month. But my reason of posting this is that when I was taking the practice exams in boson, some questions were not from what I studied, for example there was a question that asked about "aaa" configuration or one where they asked a question about using HTTPS for WLCC configuration "config network secureweb enable", these questions I am not familiar with, wil lthe exam have these questions?? Jeremy never talked about it!! I am bit nervous cause I can't afford to fail this exam its gonna cost me a hell lot of things!! I am just wanting to get my grip tight. So, far I gave 2 boson exams!! both in simulation mode without external help, Exam A = 85.1% and Exam B = 77%, exam b had a few out of topic questions I couldn't answer like the previous two. Please guide me about this and what should I expect in the actual exam!!

Well, I just want to do something in my leisure time. Like making some pcb that I can use for my projects like a hobby. So, I want to learn circuit designing. I want you guys to recommend the best begineer friendly course I can find, if free then good, if on youtube even better.

Remember, I have no prior knowledge of anything. I don't know about anything, but have a surface level knowledge of electric component like what is capacitor what it does? or like what is a resistor etc.

I want to know I am currently doing NetAcad courses to get myselfa voucher for the exam discount for the CCNA, I will be taking the exam in september. I want to know, why can't we use mac addresses in place of ip address??

MACs are unique per device, so no overlapping occurs.

It is never gonna exhaust cause every device has its own MAC.

Isn't it just easy, what makes it that we need IP addresses and can't work with MACs

Hey, I want to know how to stop any process in a networking device. Like if I ping in a PC and Ctrl+C stops it instantly, is there any key to do so in rotuers switches?? Like often a mistype leads to translating.... this thing so frustrating. is there a key to instantly stop a process, help please!!!

I will get my CCNA cert, this september, and I am thinking of doing an internship while I study for CCNP. Here, now I want to know what is the difference between CCNP ENCOR and ENARSI. And what should I do, keeping in mind that I don't need to put efforts when studying for CCNA, it just is in my gene I guess, really I study and get everything with just one read. I am currently in the verge of completing CCNA following JITL and boson, thats my only study resource. I have a long-term goal to fulfill aiming 10 years from now but right now this is my aim, to get CCNA and then go for intern and CCNP parallel.

Well I might sound like a fool but can anyone tell me how to do I reveal all the details, like when I command "sh run" to see the running config, the output is not shown completely, so when I hit enter then it reveals line by line. Is there a way to reveal it all at once, same in boson NetSim?? Anyone tell me please.

I bought this laptop, Dell Inspiron 15 3530 brand new in June, 2025. Yes, I know its been a year but I have had this problem from the start when I bought it and i am pissed. The first time it occured was that a few set of keys in my keyboard didn't work, but when I pressed them hard or banged them, it would start to work but everytime iturned my laptop on I had to do this. Then I got my keyboard repalced cause I bought it new obviously, cause of warranty I got it replaced and then after a month it started to happen again and this kept happening after replacement every month, nearly I have replaced it now 6 times, this last time it happened was in February this year. The shop I purchased it from, interntionally dead the montherboard and had everything replaced from keyboard to the motherboard, everything. So, this laptop became new agai but now I am having the problem again. and first when this problem occured it had only a set of key dead, but after 2-3 replacement, a few set of keys would go dead, like "zxcv" this set and a few other set too like the number 2 in the numpad didn't work alongwith 5 and 6 etc. But now this problem is like dangling to my neck not leaving me. Anyone had any similar experience or knows anything?? And yes same happens in the BIOS and also external keywords work perfectly fine. But not the inbuilt one. I have had enough now.

Aside Boson is there any free packet tracer lab resource I can practice especially troubleshooting.

I am following Jeremy and his Lab Files I have done them all, till where i have studied, I am currently at Day 44 going to start NAT, so I need some labs to just practice, cause I love to configure the devices and i feel like I can handle them with ease. Thats why I need more.

Well I want to know If as an Indian right now I want to move to the USA, what is my best bet right now, and how long it will take me to step in there. If I put a plan, then I am currently studying about networking (CCNA) and I am preparing myself to get a job in the next 2-3 years. Will any MNC like Cisco, get me there in the next 2-3 years from when I get the job?? or I am being in Fantasy. What do you guys suggest, help me please I just don't want to get demotivated.

I must tell you I am currently 18 years old. I am not expecting people to say I am too young to think about life right now, rather I need answers. I am trying to get an answer or a plan that may help me reach there. Its my dreamto go there, experience a whole new world out to the wilderness.
