Carpet python in the stables

Just found this old chap in the stables , we recently moved in in march, and we’re just starting to do some work in there… been in there a good hour before we noticed him, at which point we were moving the bird cage he was wrapped around and my husbands foot was way too close to his head for my husbands liking 😂 only concern is we’ve got a spaniel dog, she’s solid, but I reckon he could eat her if he wanted to, he obviously hasn’t yet. We’re on acreage and , have seen possums and next door have chickens so likely a lot of mice and rats he gets to eat on… is he a danger to my dog? Or reckon leave him be. Judging by his size he looks pretty old… feel a bit rude to get a snake catcher to toss him somewhere random

Carpet python

Hello, found this beauty today in the yard. We just moved recently and looks like he’s taking a liking to the stables …

We have a cavalier King Charles spaniel , how likely is it to eat it ? 😂 I know Pythons are kind of good to have around but only concern is my dog 🐶

Real estate.com.au reviews

Hello,

I’m wondering if anyone has personally experienced a review which was removed from realestate.com at the agents request. There seems to be a theme of reviews that are anything remotely negative being put under “review” 7-10 days, then at the end of that period the website emails to say, “happy for you to resubmit” but in the mean time the agent has removed the property address to “address on application” meaning there is no way to leave your review.. this leading to false over inflated high review ratings for agents and giving concern as to the potential consumer laws being breached.

Negative experiences and negative feedback are not defamation. Real estates threaten people with huge loss costs and legal proceedings to scare them away from providing their honest reviews. However if we all continue to play our roles in this, nothing ever changes. Buying a property is one of of the most substantial purchase one can ever make, it’s important we can trust the agents and trust the reviews.

I am wondering if anyone in here has experienced similar situation or knows someone who has?

Thank you xxx

Hello , it’s an extremely long story, however long story short, I left a review on a real estate agents page which was an honest and true reflection on my experience.

This review was left after I first attempted to resolve via my conveyancing lawyers, and the real estate agent refused to offer explanation or provide the requested documents.

The letter received today demands $50,000 within 7 days, with no break down of how that cost was concluded. Demands I apologise, remove reviews and never speak on the matter again.

Am I within my rights to update the review to include the letter that was sent. I am concerned by this behaviour as it makes me question how many other people this has happened to, causing them to delete reviews and falsely portraying a 5* image that isn’t accurate.
