Made a fast & offline schedule app for my crew

It’s been nice for us for the past two days, figured I’d share it wider in case someone else finds it useful.

No ads / no payments / no garbage. It doesn’t really even have a name. Just a nice way to look at the schedule with minimal taps.

Mods: I don’t think this counts as self-promotion, but please remove if it does.

Designed some pendants

This year I designed and printed a handful of pendants to give out to special folks on the farm.

Rainbow because Shambs is at the end of my happy rainbow, and Happy Pride.

Also, a tip: if you end up with 3d-printed stuff you don’t want, or found on the ground, you can put it in most municipalities compost bins.

Eve Weather and an Eve Thread Outlet fail to add to HomeKit/matter.

I’ve reset them both. My thread network is alive and (presumably?) well.

These things have been rock solid for me, but we moved, and now they refuse to connect directly through Apple home or the Eve app. Is this a known issue?

Can I use a dream router 7 as an AP with bonus ports?

For a long time I've relied on various Asus routers, placed throughout the house on a wired backhaul, but the ones I bought a couple years ago have given me so much grief. I think it's time I finally move over to better equipment.

I think I'm pretty settled on the Dream Router 7 for the gateway, but I'm at a loss when it comes to the APs/leaf nodes. One of the benefits of using routers as APs is you get the switch too so I can hang some wired devices off of the node, but that just doesn't seem like it's a thing in Unifi-land.

I thought I could pair every AP with a Flex Mini 2.5g, but it doesn't seem like that switch provides PoE? So it can't actually drive an AP attached to it.

So I need a PoE injector, and a switch, and an AP at every location that is currently served by one device. That's brutal, especially in a bedroom. Can I just buy more Dream Routers and use them as AP/Switches? I looked at the in-wall devices but it doesn't seem like those provide the range I would expect.

Thanks in advance for any advice
