Traveling to Tahiti in 4 weeks and trying to get in touch with the Hilton Moorea to schedule activities does anyone have an email? I tried calling but language barrier unfortunately do you think it would be ok to wait to schedule once we’re there or will we be out of luck
I’m guess my cholesterol has been right at or below 200 most of my life, LDL probably between 70-120, I’m going for a CAC at some point soon and I’m literally terrified they will tell me I need bypass … my LPa is 80nmol I’m 50 and female and scared to do a CAC. If it’s positive I will have horrible anxiety over it … any words of encouragement?
ETA: made the appointment… July 28 … how long until I get results usually?

I’m headed to my doctor for my annual physical on Monday and been toying with asking for a statin. Had my bloodwork done in advance and it is as follows
Total: 172
HDL: 64
LDL: 96
Trigs: 71
A1C: 5.1
Glucose: 72
LPa: 80 nmol
BP: 110/70
All my other labs were normal, I’m a 50 year old female with a dad who passed at 59 of heart attack (well he had a heart attack and then passed after his bypass grafts occuled right after surgery) but he’s the only one on both sides to have a heart attack. I haven’t had a CAC because well, I’m scared to 🤷♀️
Would you ask for a statin?
Is this really allowed? I’m on a Turkish flight and there is a pax that is making video calls and before I call a FA is this even allowed?
