Sick of restaurants falsely labelling dishes as "vegan"

I went out to lunch today at a Peruvian restaurant and ordered mushroom tacos that were labelled "VEGAN" on the menu. They were covered in sour cream. I even confirmed with the waiter that yes, it was in fact non-vegan sour cream. Why the fuck would they just blatantly lie?? Every time I go out to eat I'm served drinks and dishes that contain animal products despite their description having no mention of them. I ordered a "tropical smoothie" at a cafe a couple of days ago expecting it not to contain dairy as there was no mention of it being made with milk, yet in actuality it was a strawberry milkshake with honey and whipped cream on top. I'm legitimately so done with this shit. Like, what if I was allergic to dairy products?? I've decided I'm just going to completely avoid eating out due to this nonsense.
