My Experience with the Asus PA27JCV 27” Display
Absolutely don’t buy the Asus PA27JCV 27” monitor. Serious quality control issues. I had the Asus monitor and after 8 months the monitor developed very bad streaks on the lower third of the screen. I sent it in for repair as per Amazon’s instructions, packaged it up very carefully, and when it arrived at the service center, they voided the warranty because they claimed it was damaged in shipping. Amazon Spain was likewise not helpful in the long run, even though at first they seemed to be willing to provide a refund. Amazon stopped responding to my requests for information, so in the end I was basically out 700 Euros. As a side note, if you ever have to pack up a monitor to ship for servicing, take pictures and videos showing how you packed the monitor and also showing that there is no external damage. Finally if you look at the star ratings on Amazon for the Asus 27” monitor, the overall rating is lower than even other Asus monitors.
