Like even before 1914 America already surpassed britain in terms of gdp and closely catching up to British empire in gdp but Germany was third yet BRITIAN was more anxious of Germany than America navally and industrially etc Why is that?
So let's say an army is invading a city of a million people with like 100 skyscrapers and thousands of apartments
Do they genuinely have to make sure every single person of that million citizens isn't an enemy and make sure to enter every single apartment every single room to make sure an enemy isn't hiding?
Like how can an army even do that and make sure they don't get ambushed left and right to the point none of them survive?
Do armies just destroy every apartment and room to rubble?like what's the solution here?
