There’s been a HUGE uptick in sellers getting suspensions in the blind box category. Literally everyone I know that runs a surprise set is constantly catching suspensions for a mistake or misunderstanding the rules. It’s wild.
My problem is that they STACK violations. Instead of giving you a warning for a NEW problem, they suspend you instead. Never mind you fixed the previous one when you received a warning, you’re locked out of your account. If you ask them for help understanding the rules, they tell you they can’t “pre-approve” formats. You appeal and tell them what you’re doing to fix the issue and why the issue happened, they deny it, sometimes instantly.
There’s been a mass exodus from the platform because they horribly mismanage how they work with sellers, especially small ones. They’re shitting all over the hands that feed them and it’s REALLY bad business. And they have a huge lawsuit against them because they mishandled surprise sets in the first place, so who suffers? The little guys.
Someone told me this morning she missed a mortgage payment because of a suspension. These are moms trying to make extra income for their families, disabled people who can’t work regular jobs, college students trying to get some grocery money, you name it. A suspension or a ban can have serious consequences for real people.
They lean too much on AI, they have no customer service, and they’re actively causing their platform to nosedive.
That’s my rant. I want to know where people are planning on moving their shows to so I can check them out, because I am really tired me and my community of sellers being treated like we’re garbage.
