Wheel Fitment Thoughts?

I rendered the entire Rotiform catalog on my 8Y RS3 so you don’t have to 🙃

Long story short — won a set of Cast Wheels from Rotiform at FixxFest. I can choose to pay up for Forged and custom spec out the fitment if desired.

I’m debating fitment as I really prefer both for performance and look a more aggressive track spec.

The car will have H&R Sport Springs (1” height reduction)
& has CCBs in the front.

Fitments:
- 18x9.5 square - however doubt all wheels will clear the CCBs
- 19x9.5

Wheels I was scoping out from Rotiform: WGR/WGRM, SJC, ROCH, COS, BUCM, and KPRs (renderings below).

> What fitments are you running and what is your feedback?

> What would you recommend for the best track spec look (more track width & poke stance) without rubbing issues in fender or CCB clearance issues?

*** Renderings are not accurate re: fitment, concavity, etc ***

Thoughts on 2026 8Y.5 RS3 (7k miles) Daily, Track, Mountain Run, Road Trip, etc.

#AMA

I purchased my Kyalami Green Audi RS3 at the end of 2025. Previously, owned a 2018 F80 M3 CS and a 2016 S550 Shelby GT350. Coming from RWD cars to my first true AWD car definitely took some getting used to… so far the car has been not only my daily driver, but I also have taken it on road trips, including a trip from the Tampa Bay region up to Helen, Georgia for AVF (Alpine Volks Fair) where I also ended up on a few mountain runs on some really fun twisty roads.

Recently, I was able to put the car on track during an event as well. (** it was just a kart track so technically felt like more of an autocross — for context: with my prior cars, I have done numerous autocross events with SCCA, DriveFAST & OPTIMA.. and numerous track days at Road Atlanta, Daytona, PBIR, Atlanta Motorsports Park, Carolina Motorsports Park, the FIRM, Sebring, and Barber MSP with GridLife, OPTIMA, JustTrackIt, SCCA, Ferrari Club, NASA, Spectro Racing**).

Daily Driver & Long Trips:
As a daily driver, the car is great. Super easy and comfortable on all road types. Have multiple drive mode settings for both transmission and suspension is a nice option to maintain any efficient MPG and comfortable ride with the option for some fun when desired. The car layout is well done as decent room in the backseat and trunk (slightly less than my F80 had) and has a good drivers position overall. From a tech standpoint these days everything’s in CarPlay, I don’t mind the Audi technology, although there are some little quirks the technology has that are slightly annoying. I am pleased that there were still clicky buttons in a lot of places, although much of it has moved to the touchscreen.

Spirited Driving & Track Performance (so far):
At first, I was a little dismayed, having come from powerful RWD car to a vehicle that didn’t immediately give you that same rear wheel drive “hoon-like” experience. For example, drifty burnouts and easy slides. However, the cars launch is an experience like none other. Audi really dialed in the AWD system for a launch and it really rips.

In the mountains, the car really showed me what it was capable of — windy mountain roads with significant elevation changes, including on and off camber corners — the car was glued and almost point-and-click in corners. (Shoutout to @asharp.curve on IG for inviting me along on the mountain ride & shooting some cool video). We pushed the Bridgestone Potenza Sports and they gave really good feedback which made it easy to modulate towards the edge of their capabilities. (Tires were a bit too aired up but still handled well - PSI was over 50 and temps over 150 degrees after the downhill twisties). On the Kart Track, the car was fun and may have actually gotten me interested in autocrossing again… looking forward to a large track test soon.

Sounds, Special Qualities, etc:
The car is definitely special and you can’t deny its unique qualities. The inline 5 engine and its unique “lambo-like” sound is really awesome. Only annoyance is it came from the factory with a super
quiet exhaust setup that really hides a lot of its unique sound characteristics.

A few impending modifications:
- H&R sport springs (because the car sits quite high)
- H&R spacers (because the wheels are a bit too tucked IMO)
- CF Intake System (because more whooshy sounds) (brand pending)
- Exhaust System (because more 5cyl sounds) (brand pending)
- Rotiform Forged Wheels

Any Qs drop them here or at @SpectroMike IG

3” Bone-In Ribeye, Filets, Tips & Roast

Did a bulk cook for a family dinner:
- 1x 3” Bone-In Ribeye
- 7x 2” Filet Mignon
- 1x Tenderloin Roast
- 1x Tenderloin Tips

Everything aside from the Ribeye cut from the same tenderloin.

Started the bath at 137 degrees for 2.5hrs w/ Ribeye only then added the other meat cuts and lowered temp to 131 for another 1 hour and 40 mins.

Rested for 1 hour then seared TF out of it 🔥

Use a Breville Sous Vide.

Came out perfect.
