Streamers Transfer to EHD Now!

You can now transfer events that have been recorded on streaming channels to your External Hard Drive!!!!! 🪅🎆🎉

Sure would be nice if Dish actually sent out a notification on this. An email. A Hopper Internal Notification. A post here. A text message. Something. Why Dish continues to keep new features hidden until a subscriber stumbles upon them is beyond me.

4th of July Distraction Idea

I have 4 Kongs in the freezer for the 4th of July fireworks time.

Put your Kong in a drinking glass/cup...fill halfway with tiny and small biscuits. Add some beef and veggies baby food...or other baby food. Then more biscuits. Then spoon in more baby food until just below the top. Finally top off the Kong with No Sugar Dog-safe Skippy Peanut Butter. **See below. Then pop them in the freezer for at least 4 hours. I've got 2 for each Blabberdor ready to go.

It's not a perfect solution. But once they get going on their Kongs...they get obsessed. I turn the TV way up on an action movie or blast music with the vacuum cleaner going. They also get their Thunder Suits on.

**It's not "sugar-free" peanut butter with artificial toxic-to-dogs sweeteners. It's just peanuts, salt and palm oil. It's wonderfully creamy. It's just like regular peanut butter. It doesn't separate like those "natural" peanut butters. My 2 Labs love it. (And so does my significant other. Just don't tell him that there is absolutely no sugar or other sweetener in it.) It's also MUCH cheaper than those "Dog Peanut Butters" online that are like $15 for a small jar.

EHD Title Display Down 226 Titles

Okay, Dish. I know you want to go to more streaming use and get away from External Hard Drive use. I have taken issue with only 800 titles showing on your screen for over 4 years. I addressed this on Twitter all the way back in January of 2022...see attached screenshot. And several times after that over the phone, in-person with a tech, on Twitter...and here on Reddit.

But in the last couple of weeks...it's dropped down to only 574 titles being onscreen!!

I see absolutely nothing after "Raiders of the Last Ark." The titles are still there. But you need to know what title you are looking for...then search for it. THEN you can play it. That is, of course, the search actually picks up the title. Not all titles are searchable.

I have over 1,200 titles on EHD-1. Only being able to see 574 of them is frankly ridiculous!!! And it's multiple EHDs. So now I need 3 EHDs just to view all the titles that I currently have on 1 EHD?

I'm a 26+ year subscriber. This is NOT a "user issue" or an update issue. This is a Dish issue. And I am getting 🤏 this close to being a "former subscriber." The ONLY reason that I have kept my outrageously priced "America's Everything + HBO" package is the ability to record events and keep them on my EHD. Having to buy 9 new EHDs just to view the movies and events that I have spent decades collecting and paying for just to be able to see them is the last straw.

FIX IT!!!!

Sorry, @DishDanielle...but this has brought me to my breaking point. Over the 26+ years...I have probably paid Dish Network over $60,000. This issue really needs to be fixed. This isn't a technical glitch. This is an intentional way to push us longtime subscribers out by chipping away at the services we have spent years paying for. This is not right.
