Can you keep adf in a 20 tall

I had 5 i got them a year ago and I have tiger barbs so that may be why thru died but they are gone now and I want to get more of them but I heard that they would not do well in a 20 tall from petsmart but that's just where I got them I have good water premiers and I have khuli loaches I got 8 and some rasboras

I got my first tank when I was 14 now im 16 I think im doing better

I have 6 tiger barb in a 5g and now I got a 20g and a 3g shrimp tank but im still waiting for plants then the shrimp
