I have a 60” x 30” x1.5” birch butcher block which weighs around 70lbs I’m guessing.

I will center the frame between front and back edge.

With this beefy 4 leg desk with heavy solid wood 60 x 30 top is setting the frame width to be 3” from each short side a good distance for stability?

I want to maximize space between the legs, still have flexibility for side mounted arms like speaker stand arms or something, but stability should be most important. I am 6’ 1” so it will probably be close to highest height most of the time.
