Help: Shampoo bars not working after going for a sea swim? Recipe recommendations please!

I've been making CP shampoo for a few months now and have got on really well with the. However I've been swimming in the sea the last month, and the bars that were previously working now leave my hair feeling waxy and unclean.

I understand that there's some sort of chemistry between residual salt in my hair (even after rinsing as much as possible), and the fats. Please can someone explain a bit more?

And my main question, are there any particular oils, fats, techniques or recipes to use in shampoo, that work well for cleaning seawatered-hair?

I also use a apple cider vinegar rinse for conditioner.

Fats I've used are: mango seeds butter, shea butter, fractionated coconut oil, neem seed oil, olive oil, beeswax, castor oil.

Encounter with a barn owl! Somebody explain?

The most beautiful thing happened last night and I want to understand the owl's behaviour alongside folklore interpretations.

There is a lovely (large) wildflower field behind my house, I often go in the evening with a flask of tea and just hang out for half an hour.

I've recently spotted barn owls hunting at a bit of a distance. Yesterday, I was leaning on a fencepost just watching one hunt and swoop, and it gradually got nearer. I was minding my business, trying hard to be still so not to disturb them. But then it got so near, elegantly swooped down and perched a METER away from me (I'm not even exaggerating!), on another fence post.

I remained still, we stared at each other for five-ten seconds before I whispered 'hello owl'. It then - while continuing to face me - squawked very loudly, and flew away.

It was so exciting, I was in disbelief! But I have so many questions!

Surely the owl knew I was there, or did it think I was an inanimate part of the fence? Maybe the squawk was an 'oh shit I better get out of here' after I spoke.

I didn't feel like it was a hostile situation at all, and I don't think I was doing anything to threaten the owl. A bit of a Google gave some suggestions that the owl was marking it's territory etc, but I didn't interpret any of this behaviour, the owl seemed so calm. And the field is massive.

I would love some behavioural indicators please!

Also interested in any spiritual, folklore, and natural history interpretations. Anything specific to England or Britain even better.

Will they impact my tadpoles? Will tadpoles eat them? Will these have any parasite effects on my tadpoles?

Lots of ecosystem questions! Thanks

Edit: thanks all for your help! I've looked up photos and think mosquito larvae looks more likely. Will keep an eye on it. I think the tadpoles attempt to eat them, but they often miss!
