Need Recommendations for a Reliable Car Around PKR 30 Lakh

Looking to buy my first car and could use some honest opinions.

I've been going down the PakWheels rabbit hole for the past few days, and the more I look, the more confused I get.

What I'm looking for is a car that's economical to own—good fuel average, low maintenance, reliable, and not a headache when it comes to parts or repairs.

The Alto is currently at the top of my list, but I've also been looking at the Mira and Nissan Dayz. At the same time, I'm finding quite a few 3rd gen Cultus, Wagon Rs, Vitzs, Swifts, Corollas (2014+), and even some 2016–17 Honda Citys that fall within my budget.

My usage is pretty straightforward:

  • Karachi-based.
  • Family of four adults.
  • Mostly city driving.
  • Long trips are rare.

For people who've owned or driven these cars, what would you recommend? Is the Alto practical enough for four adults, or is it worth spending a bit more for something like a Cultus, City, or Corolla?

If you had my requirements and budget, which one would you buy and what would you avoid?
