I’m going to my first concert this November and im sooooo excited. It’s The Weeknd! I’m planning everything put DOWN to my lotions and scents lol 😂

initially I had planned to wear the Hayl massage bar layered with ALINA but someone told me that gourmand, sweet scents smell bad after concerts - after all the sweating and such. Which makes seenseee. I’m assuming i need something with good sillage? Anybody have recs? Please suggest!

I just started working part-time at lush two months ago (yay!!!) and I was soooooo looking forward to trying out all their massage bars (including the discontinued ones - Hayl, i miss you) as well as to get dibs on their highly sought after Deep Dream bars which are sooo quickly sold out in my country.

However when I first bought them storage was a freaking nightmare for a hot, humid country like Malaysia. When I purchased my bar we didn’t have the tins in stock so I brought it home and placed it in my cupboard only to find it a very very soft and a melted mess :(

The store is air conditioned, yes, I am aware of the temperature change between the outlet & my home. But the heat sensitivity of the bar rlly upset me :( so since then ive had it stored in my fridge.

fast forward to a week later I have bought the tin and expected that maybeee it would help better to insulate the product but noooo :( Moral of the story is… massage bars aren’t for everybody IN HOTTER CLIMATES. Idk about you guys Going out of the shower straight to the fridge is not very ideal to meeee :/

But I will say… Deep Dream has been AMAZING for sleep I do recommend it to people with trouble sleeping - only if you can handle the product well. With the heat wave and all, we’re all putting our massage bars in the fridge this summer 😭
