Best screen protector/pen for Surface Pro?
Hi everyone! I JUST bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 11th edition to draw on! I previously had been using the XP-PEN Artist 12, which I have absolutely loved for many years, but I didn't love lugging around my laptop AND tablet with a gazillion cords just to draw! It really is a hassle, so I wanted something truly portable; which is why I got the surface pro! So far, I have enjoyed the experience.... save for some issues within CSP itself. I've been using CSP since 2020, so I would prefer to stay with this program.
Anyway, the "slim stylus" that I bought is absolutely horrific! It's far too small, and it's unusually flat so my hand cramps continuously when holding it; which makes drawing a nightmare! I tweaked some settings in CSP because it wasn't behaving as it normally should, once I got my brushes to look and almost behave normally, I realized part of the problem is likely due to the pen.
Additionally, I believe the screen is far too "glossy" for the pen, while it works REALLY well for touch screen, I find I am longing for some sort of "grab" on the screen, or some kind of resistance to make my lines less wobbly. [The pen definitely contributes to that too!]
So, I think a paper-like screen protecter will really assist with the overall glossiness of the screen, and I want a WHOLE new stylus! Preferably an actual round one, with an eraser on top and an "absorb color" button. Any recommendations for a pen and screen protector that work especially well with CSP? Thank you in advance!
