Prognosis?

I (32F) was diagnosed with ADPKD officially 2 years ago. I had to move and I haven’t seen a nephrologist in over two years. Due to the nature of my insurance, I have to see a PCP first and literally was just able to see a PCP after two year wait time (rural area). My nephrologist appointment is next month. My doctor’s office called me all worried but the measurements have stayed pretty much the same in my cysts since 2024. The one on the right has only grown 1cm. My bun is 20, my creatinine is 0.7 my GF is >90. What do you guys think regarding my overall progression?

How long did it take your scale to move?

I (32F) have had a very difficult time lately trying to lose weight. I got into running earlier this year and ran a 10K in April to which I prepped several times a week for leading up to. I did weight lifting here and there with this but did not see any improvements in weight so decided to go back to weight lifting/cardio combo.

I gave up sweets for May and then decided for July to try a low carb diet. I have eliminated pasta, rice, bread, processed foods. I never drank soda, alcohol, or fast food so those are things I don’t eat either. I hit the gym 3 times a week for a little over an hour. Roughly 30 min of cardio which is usually the stair master and 30 minutes of weight lifting. I am physically sore and feel amazingly healthy and strong on this new diet/workout plan; however, my scale is not moving… my measurements? The same since I started running.

Is there something I am doing wrong? Is it possible I have something else underlying like a medical problem? Or are some bodies just slower than others? Everything from the internet to AI says I should be losing weight, but here I am at the same weight I have been for two years.

Honestly, I’m kinda of sick of it. I don’t want to be skinny, I just want my body to reflect my hard work.
