Buzzing noise coming from PreSonus Eris 3.5BT speakers.
Hello.
Just recently I bought a pair of PreSonus Eris 3.5BT speakers for my Mac mini M2 Pro. When I use the Bluetooth mode, the audio comes cleanly through the speakers. But when I plug the speakers into my computer using the dual RCA cable, any time audio is played on my computer, a high pitched hissing noise comes through the speakers and remains for a several seconds afterward.
I tired changing the audio format in the Audio MIDI Setup, and that seemed to work, but there is a slight audio delay since it doesn't match the format of the PreSonus Eris 3.5BT which appears to be 32bit.
I searched up what the issue might be and found that it is potentially a Ground Loop issue, but wasn't sure if that is entirely true, because reading into what a ground loop issue is, it doesn't seem like that is the issue I'm experiencing.
If the issue is related to a ground loop, what would be the best ground loop isolator to buy? I have no audio setup and just want to plug the speakers directly into my computers headphone jack port. Thanks!
