After dreaming this dream and posting about it here:

I have at long last made the hardware store soup. It was surprisingly hard to acquire some campbell's veggie soup in my area, but eventually I found some. Winged the amount of garam masala, probably about a teaspoon and change. It eats pretty good! Not in the top 5 meals of my life, but still a solid and cheap lunch. Great job, dream me!

Famous hardware store soup (and its terrible secret)

I had a dream where I was working at a neighborhood hardware store, and quickly learned that the hardware store had a reputation for its delicious and cheap soup. The soup was not sold in jars or cans or anything, it was sold out of a soup warmer behind the counter. Some people would get it in a bowl and eat it in the store. Others would get it put into a thermos, but many many people got the soup. They came for an air filter or a plumbing fitting or some light bulbs but they all left with soup.

During the course of the dream I learned that the famous soup was just campbell's condensed vegetable soup that was thinned with coconut milk instead of water and had a spoon of garam masala added. I wanted to shout it to the world, but found out I had signed a soup specific NDA so I couldn't. I seethed knowing we were charging what felt like a king's ransom for pennies worth of ingredients and no real labor. Upon awakening I felt a compulsion to share the secret of the hardware store soup with the world, and now I have.

The Shrek franchise has made a boatload of money at the worldwide box office, which means that Shrek has been dubbed into a bunch of different languages.

In English, Shrek has a pronounced Scottish accent as voiced my Mike Meyers, which has some cultural connotations to English speakers (a lot of American and English media portrays Scots as grumpy and insular, which is I think why Meyers went with that accent).

In your country, does Shrek speak with a regional accent, and if so, what accent does he speak with?
