Help and advice from the s2k community
Long story short, i have a clean, yellow 2006 s2000 with 140k miles being shipped out from the east coast as we speak and it gets here tomorrow. I live in a beach town in Southern California with no garage or driveway space available and I’m eager to keep this car safe and in as best condition as possible. There is a single car private garage for rent near me for 400$ a month on a month to month lease and the owner won’t budge on lowering the price for me. To clarify, commercial car storage near me is in the 500-900$ a month range. Is it worth renting this privately owner single car garage while i look for a better option for storage in the near future? I am nervous to leave it out on the street with a cover on it but maybe i am being overly paranoid? I also have the option to rent out driveway space for 100-200 a month. What would you all do in this predicament? Thank you for your time
