Well deserved MOTM - Ryan Naderi
I’ve been really Impressed with big Naderi this season so far. His work rate is superb and he does have an eye for goal, good battler in the air and holds up the ball well. Well in

Pandur - 10
Didn’t put a foot or hand wrong - although no diving header this time to clear the ball still didn’t concede any goals … actually yet to concede a goal to Celtic. Despite 180 minutes only one shot of goal to deal with.
Penrice - 9
Looses a point for not scudding the ball off a Celtic player this time. All in all solid performance as usual. Best loan player in Scotland and best left back. Glad Hassan didn’t try and attack him today.
Fernandes - 9
Solid.
Makhanya- 20/10
Easily the best player in Scotland. A Mix between maldini and pirlo. At least 4 Celtic players in the pocket. At one point decided to play on the wing just to skin Celtic players.
Sterling - 10
In all honesty a beast of a performance again from Sterling.
Raskin - 10
Scudded a ball of a Celtic player takes penrices point, wasn’t even part of a challenge or anything just scudded it off him, towards our own goal and everything 10/10
Neil - 8
Didn’t score 2 goals like he did last week. So a point each deducted. Great player showing signs of a great captain but didn’t prompt McGregor to beg for “no more goals” so it’s an 8 from me.
Minsu - 9
Ref was very biased against him today minus a point for that. Conceded many many fouls even without actually committing any fouls or touching any Celtic players for some needs to improve on that.
Gassama - 9
Faster than tierney all day long. Who can’t actually last 90 minutes anymore and I think McGregors probably done as-well to be fair. Although super sub forest is always a threat. Or maybe that was five years ago.
Naderi - 9 for the left ankle 10 for the right
Goal scorer. Played with a broken ankle after the last game in which Celtic tried a hatchet job on him. Still scored still dominated.
Kelsy - 9
Probably will be top scorer this season. Can’t wait
Subs:
Curtis 9
Came on nutmegged carter vickers and had a wee laugh top bants. Fouled numerous times.
Manger
Mcinnes 10 : brown brogues and blue suit looked sharp, picked up an early yellow and thought he done well to maintain composure and not fly into any more tackles for the rest of the game.
When you look at the ages of the first team it’s even more impressive how they’ve performed over the last few weeks older player today is penrice at 27. Fantastic to see a young hungry rangers team winning games and looking solid !
I think he might be
Calling it early I think he will be a big player for us this season
I’m interested to know where the percentage is in our fan base here, personally I think we cut our losses early here and get a big name in, I believe in the squad it has depth and there is a good team in there somewhere - or much better than what we are showing. Too defensive, too many mental chops and changes and strange substitutions just reek of someone out of their depth. For me he must go sooner than later
He’s talking about “we need to take more risks” and I agree our game is tentative and predictable ….
Tonight 3-4-1-2 was a welcome change and as far as I could see was the best football we played so far this season. Certainly more entertaining than I’ve seen us play so far …. By no means phenomenal stuff or even the level we should we at but better …
The wingers had space, we looked more positive and dare I say it we had the momentum
THEN COMES MCINNES - in my opinion he shits the bed and shows just how out of depth he is here. Takes off aasgard - who in my opinion and again this is only my opinion is one of our more “risky” players he looks to play the ball forward, he try’s the risky passes he’s the kind of player you want on when you have most of the momentum in the game and your chasing that goal. Be it from a free kick or playing the direct attacking pass, hes also been known to pop up with a goal or two himself and is a decent striker of the ball.
And puts on mcrorie…. A defensive minded right back who has been far below par for me
Invites the pressure, gives away the momentum and loses the game
We still havnt won a game yet…… and that’s likely to be our season unless something changes
And shankland was shite tonight. Abysmal first touch I don’t think he controlled the ball once, brought it down or held it up once effectively. Looks slow and unfit and we are going to miss chermiti more than I think any of us realise.
3rd place if we are lucky
Raskin Yokota and Curtis (when playing in the right position) were arguably our best three players. Did anyone think Yokota Curtis or Raskin looked in anyway tired or fatigued ? Because I didn’t ?
We are 1-0 down and we take them off to replace them with … mcrorie? A right back that offers nothing going forward. Just for apparently the sake of keeping fresh?
So far Mcinnes has 2 defeats and a draw and looks well out of his depth and totally clueless imo
His subs and team selections are baffling. And I’m not sure how many more defeats he can afford. Thursday night is HUGE
Obviously we are fucked at CB at the minute I would have makhana in at cb over Sterling at CB and mcrorie on - mcrorie is just not good enough we’ve all seen enough
Devlin and Raskin in cm let’s Raskin push forward a bit more and affect the game higher up with Curtis, chermiti shankland and yokota all ahead of him to pass to
I do see dragogevic as probably more of a starter than devlin
We do have decent depth in central midfield with, Chuckwani, and dragojevic for devlin and Raskin and I’d keep gassama as a sub 60-70minutes and use mccausland aswell to keep the wingers fresh similarly with shankland and chermiti having back up from nadieri and miovski keep them fresh and hungry and fighting for position
But honestly I’m just fed up for the lack of change
Anyone else up for back to basics 442 and get the basics right ? Cause after two games it’s looking like we are miles behind.
