What book or piece would you recommend first?

I’m an adult student who has been taking classical violin lessons for the past few years, and I’m finally going to start learning fiddle, which has been one of my goals from the beginning.

What would you recommend as a good first fiddle tune?

Does anyone trim their own hair?

I’m trying to grow out my hair while keeping it healthy but I don’t want to pay $60 for a baby trim. Is it a bad idea to trim the ends of your own hair?

What activities do you recommend for toddlers in your life that are actually fun?

For context, my niece is 4 and playing with toys is so boring for me. Even the park is bores me. I’m beginning to think this is either a defense of I’m grateful I didn’t have kids.

Thanks for recommending the Abbey Yung method!

Thanks to your tips, my hair has never looked healthier or fuller.

I follow the AY method (washing hair daily), use Nioxin Hair Thickening Gel and Davines mousse, then divide my hair into 4 sections and blow-dry with the Shark FlexStyle curlers on setting 2. After it sets, I brush it out and finish with Oribe Superfine Spray.

This is me at the end of a windy day, and it still held up so well.
