What is going on and will trans reads expire soon? It is a good archive of trans and gender non conforming reads, so I don't want that to happen!!

I am hoping for some advice. Yesterday I interviewed for a position; however, afterwards I have decided that personally I would not enjoy the job. I have not had the chance to send a thank you email immediately after the interview (I had gotten slammed at work). This is an internal position that I jad applied for.
I am still within the 24 hour period after the interview. The staff also told me that they plan to let me know mid week about the position. Can I send a thank you for the interview email and include a request to no longer consider me for the role? Or should the thank you and decline be two separate emails? I feel that it would be more efficient to include it all in one email; however, I'm not sure if this would be rude/gauche.
