Saggy corners at the bottom. Why?

I used the machine to make the cover and box corners with plenty of fabric left over at the bottom to wrap under and staple but the corners look shite.
I tucked and folded and trimmed and tucked and folded and trimmed but it stayed so bulky then I think maybe I cut too far or the wrong angle or maybe both.
Can anyone point me to a good tutorial for doing this better or give simple instructions on how to improve next time?

Seeking help with identifying this piece. It's a fler but not sure if the model is correct. Your advice?

MCM armchair restoration

My first attempt at this kind of cushion recovering. All new foam. Sewed a double layer into the backrest so that there is protection from the springs, and fits tightly over the metal frame, which was really tricky with a zipper in there too. My mum taught me the whole thing. She's very clever. I'm pleased with how it came out. Would love your feedback redditors

MCM armchair TV Chair

Found this crusty old chair on Facebook marketplace. Freshened up the frame and replaced the foam and upholstery. Came across the stool at a market for $5 it's not perfectly suited but close enough

Came up pretty good I think

Sewing machine recommendations?

Wondering what is recommended as a good sewing machine that can handle upholstery fabric but also other basic sewing tasks too? Not looking to spend a fortune but also don't want to buy anything cheap and nasty. I'm just a home hobby diy-er not needing commercial grade or anything like that

Thanks in advance!

ID wood type / pattern?

Picked up this TV chair from Facebook marketplace. It was VERY grotty (see photos just for fun) but I thought it had a nice shape so I grabbed it as a flip project.

I cleaned and sanded back and oiled up the frame and low and behold I think it's come up beautifully.

I am wondering about the pattern in the timber on one of the arms in particular.

Is this generally appreciated or is it a defect?

Wondering what it does to price. I like the character of it but sometimes my tastes are not the same as majority so here for advice.

Thanks in advance

Art deco chair

Bought for $10 on Facebook marketplace

Took and while as I have never done upholstery before, so I also wasted materials on mistakes, but learnt heaps

It's not perfect, but will live another 70 years now and I enjoyed the project
