I gasped when Emilie showed up in the event. I was like “Oh my god she’s actually going to INTERACT WITH PEOPLE FROM FONTAINE. WE GET TO SEE HER PERSONALITY WITH OTHER CHARACTERS!” And then we didn’t :) Cause she had 2 lines and it was part of a script. And then she walked off:) And then she got 1 single line later.
Hell yeah 3 lines. One day she’ll do something cool I swear.

Out of all the old Assault maps, I really feel like Horizon Lunar Colony got the short end of the stick. It was released in June 2017, and then in April 2020, patch notes stated “the number of matches played on Paris and Horizon Lunar Colony have been greatly reduced” for competitive specifically, with the blog post going more in depth:
>In the short-term, greatly reduce the number of matches played on Paris and Horizon Lunar Colony. We’ve seen a lot of good feedback that these two maps could use some changes, and we want to improve them in future game updates. To that end, we’re taking a look at Paris first with an eye toward updating the map’s layout and making it more fun to play.
"Greatly reduced" basically meant zero, in this case. If you were purely a comp player (like me), you genuinely haven't played a match on this map since March 2020 (S21) and before that it was November 2019 (S18), as Map Pools were introduced in S19 and HLC wasn't in rotation until S21. Only to be removed on April 14, 2020. Then, in March 2022, they were removed from Quickplay, and in October 2022, Assault was removed in Overwatch 2.
They have reskinned most of the old Assault maps in some shape or form. Paris is a Deathmatch map and also got reskinned into Palace Lacroix for Stadium. Hanamura and Temple of Anubis got remade into Clash maps for stadium. Volskaya is the other outlier here, but that was available since release and was still playable in competitive up until Overwatch 2. (Plus it got a whole animated short there!)
This is all to say, Horizon Lunar Colony was so cool on release. It added the low gravity area (albeit no one went out here because it was detrimental, but the concept was cool), the interactable telescope (which they're still making voicelines for btw!), and it's literally the origin of Winston and Ball! Why have they not turned this into a push map or something? I wasn't the biggest 2cp fan, I'm not asking for Assault back, but I liked the theme of this map, and the anniversary got me thinking.
