I found out two weeks ago that my husband of 9 years had been messaging his ex-girlfriend from high school and college for the last three years in secret. She was not an active participant, but he kept escalating the affection in his messages. He has been insistent that it was nothing and that he was just conflicted about his feelings. Today I found this on a secret Reddit account he had on his phone. He swears he didn’t mean it, but I can’t believe anything he says. I just don’t know what to do.
