Another dead 9800X3D

After a year of great usage, it happened.

With my ASROCK X870E Nova motherboard, I’m getting a dreaded what seems like almost boot, but a simple error code of “0 0” and nothing. Can’t get into BIOS etc. attempted a CMOS reset, unplugging everything, reseating RAM and making sure all power cables are securely plugged in, nothing.

I also did a flash BIOS update of my motherboard, and still nothing.

The only thing I can think is that I finally have had happened what was seemingly happening a lot last year, my CPU suddenly died and my Motherboard may be involved.

Unsure, but warranty claim on CPU is currently “under review”.

Hoping new CPU doesn’t take too long to be received.

Edit: because people keep asking. I had updated my BIOS 3-4 times over the past year, most recently from a few months ago.

New to Hades 2. Are melee vs ranged weapons fairly equal?

Hey all,

FINALLY playing Hades 2 after playing Hades 1 something like 5-6 years ago. Game is fantastic, love it, so good.

Anyways.

The game starts you with the staff, and ya, is it just me, or is Melee a bit of a “harder” mode.

I generally love axes in lots of games, such as a souls type game, or monster hunter etc.

It feels like, with how bullet hell-ish the game can sometimes feel, that ranged combat is much easier? Seems like less risk. It also seems like the whirlwind attack on the axe felt kinda weak?

Obviously a lot of this is new player “skill issue”, but the staff (to me) feels a lot more reliable and safer.

That being said, my furthest run so far (got to Kronos on my 11th run) was with the dual blade things.

Thoughts?

Been wondering this, is there an easy way to identify kill time of a weapon’s Primary VS Alt fire on any given weapon?

Sometimes it’s somewhat obvious, that x weapon does better crowd control with this weapon vs single on this weapon.

Also, do weapons of ALL types do the same damage per bullet (mods aside)?

For example, does a level 20 assault rifle do the same damage as a level 50 assault rifle (mods and stat scaling aside)

Thanks!
