How Long to Book for Chapel Ceremony

Hi all! I would LOVE to get your advice on how long would be best to book for an elopement at Sure Thing Chapel.

Is the 30 minute package long enough? Or should we go for the hour? We will have family there with us (11 guests) and have plans to do sunset photos on Fremont after.

Thanks so much for your words of wisdom 💒

Struggling With Healthy Weight Gain

Hi all! I (30F) have been in recovery for about a year after 15 years of undiagnosed anorexia (I was diagnosed and admitted to a program at 29… it’s been a ride lol).

For a bit more context, I actually work as a social worker and have been a crisis response worker until just over a year ago. I truly thought my biggest issue was anxiety, and chalked all of my unhealthy habits up to being extremely anxious or depressed. It wasn’t until I started supporting clients/students with EDs that I realized I too was struggling with this.

It became really hard to do the work I was doing, so I actually stepped away from crisis work and have moved into an administrative and supervisory role at a university. I love it. I’ve also worked really hard to manage my anxiety and depression and am truly the healthiest and happiest I’ve been in years. I’m even going back to school for a master’s degree!

But… I need to be honest and share I’m struggling a bit with my new, healthy body. I have finally started eating without restricting and have obviously started embodying a much healthier body size and weight. But nothing fits, and nothing feels “good” when it comes to the clothes I own. And it’s sent me for my first spiral in a while. I’m trying really hard not to relapse. I’m trying really hard not to feel sad.

Thank you if you’ve read this far, btw!

I’d love to ask for any advice or words of wisdom. Should I just buy new clothes? Do I get a few cute outfits that fit to make me feel better? Should I get rid of the stuff that’s too tight and no longer fits? This is an exciting time as I’ve never been able to maintain a healthy weight, but processing what my new body fits into and looks good wearing is much harder than expected.

Thanks again for your time! I’m so proud of everyone, no matter where you are in your journey l xoxo

Vertical Flag Display - Looking for Confirmation that All Flags are the Correct Orientation

Hi all! I am an administrator at a university, and we are coordinating a flag display with all of the home countries of our graduating international students. I am very thankful to this group, as I have used some of the information available in the subreddit to confirm orientation already.

If possible, I would love any feedback or confirmation that the screenshot I have shared displays each flag in the correct orientation for vertical hanging, as they will be hung from an exterior balcony. Thank you in advance for your time and guidance.

Hi all! Getting married next March in Vegas! I’m so excited to start planning everything, including my hair! I usually do my own hair , but think it might be fun to get a blow out on the day of to look my best! Does anyone have any recommendations for great but reasonable priced salons near Fremont? Specifically near Circa or Sure Thing Chapel? Thanks so much!
