Did anyone else get this email from UBC. I was accepted to Eng and this email just seems off. I’ve never heard of this email address and I can’t understand why they would be asking for midterm grades when my semester ends in like two weeks. Plus it doesn’t have to be official?? Similar emails from UBC have not included my student number and I feel like it may be an attempt to prove legitimacy. Also seems odd that they would mistake the date (2025 not 2026). And it’s weird that they would ask to be sent an email rather being uploaded directly to the UBC student portal like every other document or transcript I’ve uploaded. Just being weary especially after the canvas data breach.
