My father recently received his coat of arms, so for fun I have given my own a shot.
I know I'm being a bit naughty with the small splash of Purpure on my Gules. But my questions are:
As in the second image, are the 4 Or crosses on the Argent bend a big no no in the tincture rules? Because I think it looks rather nice. Would Sable be more appropriate per the first image?
I feel like people in this Reddit will tell me it's quite busy with the number of charges, but is that really wrong? My father's has 8 charges
