My H1b petition was approved in June 2025 under "Change of Status". I resigned from my job in July 2025 and moved back to India. Hence, i never stayed till October and my status never changed. I now want to go back to the US with the same employer. Can the employer file for another petition in cap-exempt category? Or i will have to go through the lottery again?
