Uneven teeth length @ 18 weeks

I am on tray 18 of 37 (IPR between two front teeth at 12 weeks) and have had great progress! However - I noticed this week that my right front tooth seems to have been pulled down longer than the left. Photo 1 is from May, photo 2 is from today (July).

I’m not super concerned and erring on the side of “trust the process” — but just wanted to see whether this was something worth bringing up to my ortho/if anyone’s been through something similar?

Thanks so much!

There is hope!

I’m a lifelong nail biter who firmly believed my nail beds were destined to remain short, wide, and stubby forever.

I started getting Gel-X and gel overlays which: 1) helped me break my nail biting habit; 2) sort of “conditioned” my nails to grow out in a slightly better shape.

I’ve been extension free for a few months, and am mostly focused on cuticle care, oiling, and using base/top coats to keep my paper-thin nails from breaking off :)

Gentle reminder that you can have a dumpy that’s still square from the back 🤓

Spent decades despising my hip dips before I decided I don’t give a f*ck anymore, and that there is no diet, workout routine, or exercise on God’s green earth that will change my anatomy and bone structure. (These two photos are days apart, btw.)

ANYWAY - I am 7 weeks into a program with 3 lower and 2 upper body days. Leg day 1 is mostly hamstring/glutes, leg day 2 is quads/calves, and leg day 3 is a hypertrophy-focused hybrid.

I try to get 110-120g of protein a day and average around 1800-1900 calories a day.

Do I still feel pangs of envy when I see someone with perfectly round glutes? Absolutely. But I feel so much relief letting go of the notion that anything other than plastic surgery can meaningfully “fill in” my hip dips.

15 weeks & 1 round of IPR

This process is pretty damn annoying but I am over the moon with my progress so far :)

Currently on aligner 15/37, with weekly changes. Got IPR done between my two front teeth on week 12!

weight loss & maintaining/growing glutes

Hi all! I am 5’3; the two photos are 16 months apart (152 lbs -> 130 lbs). I lost the weight largely through CICO (averaging ~1400-1500 cals), weight lifting, and 10K steps daily.

I shifted to maintenance/recomp around 5 months ago, and have been working hard to gain strength (esp in my lower body as I have knee arthritis) without bulking. I’m currently lifting 5x a week (mix of strength + hypertrophy) and started a new program a few weeks ago that has me hitting legs 3x a week. I am also aiming for 110g of protein a day.

My primary question is: for those of you who have lost weight and entered maintenance — did you find that you were able to adequately put on muscle without a caloric surplus? Did you enter maintenance for a while, and then pursue a bulk? I don’t particularly care to add any more mass/size to my glutes, but would def like to improve shape/strength.

Thanks in advance! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Super excited to see visible progress so soon! I am on tray 7 with weekly changes.

I started Invisalign because of my pesky overlapping front teeth, but my treatment plan definitely surfaced some bite issues that I’m keen on resolving :)
