Do I stop taking PPI before endoscopy?
I’m getting an EGD/colonoscopy to check for a multitude of things, one being HPylori. I asked my doc if I need to stop taking PPI two weeks before the procedure, she said no. Everywhere I’ve read online says it’s best to stop taking a PPI two weeks before. Since HPylori is my biggest concern, I’m curious what is best.
What did your doctor have you do before your endoscopy?
