Does anyone else think…,
That Lilly when she was all dressed up with makeup looks like Daisy?

OK, I knew stamp collectors were smart and I was not disappointed in your speedy responses to my 1st quiz. I thought the Greek overprint for Thrace might have been a bit tricky.
So why don’t I make this quiz a little trickier…..
Can you identify the country of issue for these stamps when I only show you the back of the stamp. Yes, this is not a joke but look closely for clues.
Good luck.
Ok stampers, here is a fun little stamp quiz for your weekend pleasure. Can you name the country of issue for these 4 stamps.
Photo is on Zanzibar Scott 62, Gibbons 188, 1/2 Anna denomination of 1899. Photo shows the red portion printed on the reverse of the stamp as well as the front. At first I thought it had bled through on the flag portion, but as the 2nd photo clearly shows the red printing is also on the edges of the perforations.
Has anyone seen this variety before? Unsure if I should get it expertised? Thanks for your time reading this post.
I am working on my Newfoundland collection and have these two blocks. I am seeking assistance in identifying them using either Scott, Gibbons or Unitrade Specialized catalogs.
They are from the Waterloo printings based upon design size, 21mm.
Top block is P12 1/2 with line perforations. Scott 261 Gibbons 284
Bottom block is P13 with comb perforations. Unsure of catalog number.
Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I recently posted about the dilemma I faced with a 15 page exhibit when the frames hold 6 pages each. I decided to condense and went with 13 pages, then used the final frame for the set of 4 souvenir sheets also issued for the bicentennial.
Check it out. I have spotted a couple of places it could be improved and one complete goofball typo. Ah well, I think I will go with it as it is.
But I always welcome constructive input or criticism. Thanks for checking it out and keep on stamping …..
I hate to even use the word exhibitor as I truly feel my little display is middle school quality similar to my work when I was a young teenager. But let me share my quandary.
My local club show is fast approaching and the frames we use are 6 pages per frame. I have toiled all day preparing the display and I find I am in no man’s land at the unenviable position of having 15 pages.
Do I condense or expand? That is the question.
I could easily go either way. What are your thoughts? Thanks for reading and I would love your opinions.
