MCM Colorful Female Portrait

New member here — found this portrait at a Seattle Goodwill alongside a Ren Wicks that was identified previously.

The signature reads “Taylor or Thaylor” (possibly a first initial before it — hard to tell from the script). There’s also a cursive inscription on the stretcher bar side rail that I believe says art supply center. The back has what appears to be canvas size notation.

My best guess is oil on canvas, 1960s, based on the subject’s hairstyle, the cat-eye liner, and the frog-closure collar. The background is loose and gestural — feels intentional, not unfinished.

I’ve done a reverse image search with no results. Interested in identifying the artist, confirming the medium, and understanding the style/period.

Photos included: full front, signature closeup, back of canvas, stretcher bar inscriptions.
