Code P0118 - Help, cant clear the code

I recently purchased a 2009 Road King classic that has a S&S teardrop intake, Mutazu 2 to 1 exhaust, and an old Fuel Pak CARB programmer. The previous owner said the bike had been sitting for 3 years. I bought the bike, and rode it 200 miles home the day I got it. On my ride, it ran fine and the CEL would flicker on and off. It felt like it was running rich and at the time I thought it was the old programmer. The previous owner removed the horn and there is just 2 wires hanging there now. I only mention the horn because it is in the same loom as the engine temp sensor, which I replaced as the fix for the codeP0118. I got the gauge into diag mode, read the code and attempted to clear it. No matter what i do, it will not clear. I disconnected the battery for 24 hours to try to clear the ecu and when i start it up, the CEL is rock solid now with the same code. I rode it last night for about 20 min, and it seemed to run fine. IDK. what do you guys think? Im just trying to avoid heading to the dealer if I dont have to. I have also done a 3 hole change, and new plugs

Not my first bike at all, but my first American bike sad to say. I really like the cholo style and I think this one kinda follows that style. I dont know much about Harleys, but it has a 21 inch front spoked wheel, matching rear wheel, 2 into 1 exhaust, and the air cleaner says S&S but I dont know if that means anything. It had the rear "trunk" on that I took off.
