Career Reading

Hello everyone!! Just wanted to get opinions and interpretations on a reading I did on myself. I apologize, I didn’t take an image of the cards, but I did write them in my notes when I was kind of brainstorming my interpretation!!

So, I did a career reading for something I’ve been really passionate about, v.s a career I’m not AS passionate about but I believe would be easier for me in the long run. It was a debate between pursuing performing arts and/or fashion , my dream career, orrrrr going to school to be a doctor, which my family is very supportive of. Unfortunately, I believe I did not get good cards for my ideal career.

I asked what was the general energy for performing arts and I pulled: Four of Wands Reversed, Page of Wands Reversed, Chariot Reversed, Six of Pentacles Reversed

ughhhh. Off the rip I’m seeing it as something my family would not support, or it would affect the way they view me or something. I just know it means a disruption in family life, which was one of the main things that already bothered me when I was previously debating which career path to choose( would they be okay with me choosing such a risky path over a doctor?). The chariot reversed indicates to me trying to make things work but experiencing frustration because the actions I’m taking are just not working. I also got very scattered energy in general. So if I were to even make progress in this path it wouldn’t be immediate. Then with the six of pentacles reversed I think I would give more than I get in the long run, or at least financially, which I hate because it’s something I’m so passionate about and I would love to bask in the fruits of my labor. Nothing good out of this :(

Honestly not a very positive pull which is very discouraging to me because as I’m sure I’ve mentioned a billion times already this really was my dream career and I’ve participated in performing arts since middle school but I know what we want isn’t always what’s best for us. I would love to see more interpretations and if anyone else got the same ideas as me.

Also— I was debating about including my doctor path reading on here but I was afraid it would make the post too long so if anyone’s curious about it I’ll share it in the comments and I’d love to converse about it!!

Are palate expanders the only choices for a narrow palate?

Hello!! I’m basically just coming on here to ask are palate expanders the only option to fixing a narrow palate?

I’m asking this because I have a very narrow palate and I’ve been trying to mew but it’s uncomfortable and the sides of my tongue are seriously getting hurt because they keep coming into contact with my back teeth. Somehow my tongue is overflowing under my molars and I’m slightly biting on it or something, I don’t know but they’re being pinched. Im not clenching my jaw. The sides of my tongue have been hurting every day now . Will this get fixed with mewing or do I have to get some type of palate expander?

Truthfully, I don’t have money for a palate expander which is why this is so important to me.

I can’t properly swallow & suction with a lip seal

As the title says, when I close my mouth when mewing whenever I try to swallow I’m unable to get my tongue suctioned back up. It’s like theres is some type of suction in my mouth but it’s not being applied on my tongue if that makes sense??

Like my lips feel like they’re being pulled in and a little bit of my checks and it feels like my jaw is being pulled down or something. It’s a strong force to, like it’s hard to move my tongue. I can put it at the roof of my mouth but there’s no suction whatsoever. It’s only when I go to collect saliva that has pooled under my tongue that this happens. Like when I release my tongue from its suction hold to gather the saliva it just doesn’t go back up properly.

Im only able to successfully swallow then mew when I have my lips open. I do have a narrow palate and think I’m also recessed. Could this be why? And how do I fix this?

Hello everybody!!

Im making this post because quite frankly— I’m VERY frustrated. My side profile is absolutely horrible so obviously I decided to look into mewing, but it seems as no matter what I do NOTHING will get the back of my tongue to stay up. I’ve tried saying onion then swallowing, saying ng, saying sing, swallowing multiple times, but it just won’t stay up.

Apparently it only stays up WHILE I swallow, which I’ve noticed after recording myself trying to mew, but it goes away right after I finish. I try to hold the suction after I swallow but I just can’t, and I don’t even feel any suction taking place to be honest. Im just blindly assuming it’s happening when I swallow based off these photos:

the first one is what I look like while swallowing, and the second one is what I look like while mewing(looks slightly better than my normal jaw but practically the same).

Hello!!

Im making this post because after ONLY 2 days of mewing ( this is the 2nd day) I’m experiencing jaw pain and tightness. I’ve tried to search up if this is normal or why this would happen but I’m only seeing people say this is due to hard mewing, but I don’t think I’m doing this at all?? Unless I’m just oblivious but I’m pretty sure I’m not really applying any pressure. But then again, I don’t quite know what people mean when they say suction your tongue

What is causing this ? And will I be able to mew without causing this jaw pain?

My back teeth don’t touch all the way due to my wisdom teeth, Could that cause the soreness? I think I have a slight tongue tie, but it doesn’t seem to affect me that much. And also how can I relieve some of this pain because I’ve stopped mewing but it still hurts. Im only 17 I don’t wanna curse myself with jaw issues in the beginning of my life 😿
