Something about the shift in the lyrics, “I KNOW you, you KNOW our bodies move in unison” to “I KNEW you, I THOUGHT our bodies moved in unison” is too beautifully written

I’ve been on my journey with intuitive eating as an avid gym goer who tracked calories and restricted any sort of non diet food who then lost her menstrual cycle, was constantly irritated, and felt the lowest of energy. A life revolved around keeping low body fat is not a life at all. Anywho…I think the hardest thing for me is discerning hunger vs. cravings. The first week or so I had sweets and food alike SO much. Definitely over ate, borderline binge, but I think that’s just natural after restriction for so long. I think I’m coming out of that, but now I’m struggling with knowing when I’m full/done eating.

When you’ve tracked for so long, you know when you’ve had enough due to numbers. Now about 50% of the time I finish my meal and don’t feel satisfied. I don’t necessarily feel hungry. It’s weird because my brain is telling me I’ve had enough food and if I eat more it’ll be more than I need. I’m trying to go all in so I usually eat whatever it is I’m craving, but I can’t help but feel I’m eating too much? Is there any reccomendations or tricks that helped you? I’m listening to the book now and about 40% of the way through (just about to start chapter 4: challenge the food police)
