Mother Ease Sandy's for transitional solids phase

Have people used Sandy's as the fitted diaper for the transitional phase. We are currently using GMD muslin flats and trying to make our life easier, so thinking about trying some fitteds. We previously tried Esembly snaps during the newborn phase and hated the elastics digging into his skin and the lower absorbency. In that sense, Sandy's seems to be a good choice. The only thing I could not find is how well the pasty transitional poop scrapes off the cotton Terry cloth. They also have a stay dry version now but no idea how those would perform either.

Learning about your experience will be very appreciated. Thank you.

Poop containment for solids transitional phase?

Feeling a little overwhelmed with this phase.

What is your favorite way to fold a flat for a baby who is transitioning to solids? It seems like the pasty poop finds its way out onto the wool covers no matter what. I can see poop stuck on to the rolled part of the diaper and then spilled over it to the cover.

I have been using the Origami with jelly roll so far, but am now giving up on it and going to try Kite with jelly roll next. In threads from many years ago, someone said they liked Maria as well. So maybe that after Kite.

Side note: I am giving up on spraying the diapers. I do have the Spray Pal bucket but I cannot find peace knowing that the toilet water mist is still making its way to my face and other places in the bathroom. I am going to scrape as much as I can and then just let the washing machine handle the rest.

Experience with Townsteel smart locks?

My HOA is giving us the option to upgrade our Yale 8000 mortise locks with a specific Townsteel smart mortise lock - e-Cronus 7000. The homeowners are expected to purchase, configure and maintain it themselves. HOA will not be running the management software centrally.

Does anyone here have experience with these locks in a residential setting? My concern is parts availability and that managing them might not be straightforward for end users. It seems like they don't have an Android app.

I have read the uber thread here on upgrading mortise locks to smart mortise locks, but that thread does not mention Townsteel, and I wish I could have shown my HOA that thread before they finalized the option.

Deeper kitchen sink without lowering sanitary tee

Hello, what are my options if I (without properly thinking) installed a 10 inch deep sink to replace an 8 inch sink, and have a garbage disposal unit?

Right now, things are set up such that the discharge port of the garbage disposal is maybe a quarter inch above the wall stub. There is also a drain saddle from an RO system that is going directly into the P Trap below the water line; I am looking into if the drain saddle can be replaced with a dishwasher RO drain line adapter.

When I used the sink after this setup and then disconnected the adapter from the discharge port, roughly 5-10 ml water came out of the disposal which means the water line is maybe just about going into the disposal unit.

I am thinking of removing the garbage disposal unit entirely if this setup is too wrong. The deeper sink is more useful to us than the disposal unit.

Lowering the sanitary tee behind the wall will be some paperwork with the HOA and maybe a permit from the city so I have been trying to avoid it.
