A few days ago I posted here about any issues I might run into before sealing the deal on Octavia rs 2024 FL version. I got it inspected during the week, everything was good and just brought this beauty home today.

Buying a 2024 Skoda Octavia vRS - sanity check before I sign

Hey all, looking for a gut-check from people who’ve bought a used octavia vRS recently or own one.
It's 2024 2.0TSI liftback facelift driven 15500km.
It comes with extras such as winter package etc. Really loved the driving experience.
A few questions I am trying to nail down before I commit:

  1. Anyone had mechatronic unit or clutch pack issues on the newer 7-speed wet DSG in the RS? Is there a service interval I should be pushing the seller to prove was done (oil/filter change), or documentation I should ask for specifically?
  2. Anyone dealt with screen freezes, reboots, Bluetooth/Android Auto dropouts, or other infotainment bugs?
    Any advice about what I need to watch out for before making the purchase is highly appreciated!
    Negotiated the price to 33500 Euros.

Weird marks on my Holbrook Oakley lens : scratches or coating damage? What should I do?

Noticed these marks on one of my Oakley lenses and not sure what exactly caused them or what they are. They look like scratches towards the edge. I don’t remember dropping them or anything, they just kind of appeared.

Couple of questions: 1. Is this actual lens scratching or could it be coating damage?
2. Is there anything that can actually fix this, or is it a lost cause?

Got them little over 2 months ago.
