Hey all, I have this old K1200. Would it be compatible with the 7060? Thanks!

PC doesn't turn on with power button or shorting

Hi all, I've recently moved all my components from an existing build onto a smaller case (Dan A4 H20 to Formd T1). The only difference is, my AIO gave out and I replaced with an air cooler. Everything else is the same.

Issue is, I've connected everything back up to spec, have all the power cables firmly seated and tried three power switches (2 from the Formd T1 and the other from the Dan A4) but the PC won't turn on - even when I short the power pins on the Mobo.

It briefly turned on multiple times before when I reseat the power button - when it doesn't turn it on; I also tried shorting the power pins (which turns it on about once in 3 attempts), but every time I think I fixed the issue and I turn it back off to complete the build, the power button becomes unresponsive again. When it does turn on, it goes back off again - this mostly happened when I was shorting the power pins. Maybe it was sending multiple on/off signals? When it did turn on from shorting, I turn it back off and plug the power button back in and it works normally, but the next off/on cycle, the button fails again.

It's come to the point where both power button and shorting it doesn't turn it on anymore, but I can confirm that the board is receiving power since the LEDs for the audio jacks all turn on. I've also tried my older SF750 power supply but same issue. I also did a strip down component test of just having the mobo, cpu, cooler and psu but still the same issue.

Did I fry my motherboard? Is it weird that three power buttons don't work? My Mobo has a daughterboard with power pins but if you choose to not use it, there's power pins on the mobo itself - both don't work.

Specs:

  • ROG Z690-i Wifi
  • i5-13600KF
  • ID Cooling IS-77
  • Corsair SF1000
  • 5080FE
  • Kingston Fury 32GB 6000
  • Samsung 990 2TB + 980 1TB
  • Formd T1

I've yet to try the reset pins on the mobo daughterboard. What else can I try, if the mobo isn't fried?
