Former 15th gen members Mukaichi Mion and Ichikawa Manami went together to AKB48 Day for the Yokohama Idol Series at Yokohama Stadium.
Manami shared photos from the event on her X account. The two are known to be very close friends. Mion participated as a member in last year’s event, while Manami has long been known as a lifelong fan of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars baseball team.
Kashiwagi Yuki’s new single “Shiawase Kinenbi” goes on sale June 17.
Those who pre-order the regular edition single at the special booth on June 7 during the release event will receive an special benefit ticket. Each ticket can either be exchanged for a numbered entry ticket into the priority viewing area for one of the two mini-lives or used to participate in the talk session afterward with Yukirin.

Former AKB48 11th generation members Natori Wakana and Suzuki Shihori visited the new theater this Saturday during the afternoon performance of Koko Kara da (women-only audience), accompanied by Shihori’s 6-year-old daughter.
Shihori, who has the unique distinction of also being a former 7th generation member, originally joined AKB48 as a 7th generation kenkyuusei in 2008 before departing the group after only eight months. She later re-auditioned and returned as an 11th generation member from 2010 until 2015.
After graduating from AKB48, she achieved her goal of working for a major airline before getting married in 2019. Shihorin now works as a video editor while raising two daughters. She also remains close friends with current member, Iwatate Saho, whom she first met during the 11th generation auditions.
Congratulations to 16th generation member Nagatomo Ayami on being selected for AKB48’s 68th single senbatsu—her first senbatsu appearance since Koi Tsunjatta approximately two years ago.
