Lost my boi to leukemia 2 months after surgery. Let’s hear about the ones who got you through yours 🖤

Had no idea he was sick until his last 6 weeks. Didn’t know it was cancer until the last day.

He spent a lot of time hanging out on the couch with me. I discovered he LOVED chimken soup (the white bear he’s cutely cuddling with is actually him threatening my childhood lovey in exchange for soup!).

I posted about laying on the ground at the indoor dog pool we took him to bc swimming was his favorite thing in the world. So glad we didn’t have to miss even a week of that for my recovery.

I’m so so grateful to have been able to recover with him by my side. If you’re in the trenches but have a dog or cat best friend getting you through it - give them an extra pat from me today 🫶🏻

Help. I’m only at 8 popsicle sticks out of 25…

I have 3 weeks before my final followup with my surgeon and he said I need to get to 3 fingers by then or he’ll have to force it so I don’t permanently lose range of motion. Any tips tricks or just encouragement? This is painful and scary.

Yesterday I posted in desperation because I’ve been having so much trouble getting enough calories and I saw a Costco cauliflower pizza in the freezer and got tempted…and the votes came in 3-0 so here we are. For my takeaways 📝:
- I kept the water minimal and probably should have added a little more. My blender is great but I ended up with some chunks because it was on the dry side and I had to add water after to get it in my syringe.
- I only blended 1/4 of the pizza in case it ruined it. I would eat 1/2 the pizza on a good day but that felt like a good serving blended
- the smell and flavor stayed true to the normal pizza which helped a lot
- I think the fact this is so thin crust and is cauliflower not flour dough is what makes it work
- I would say this is like if tortilla soup was pizza flavored
- I’m not a picky eater on a good day but I’m still an adult with standards and this was actually much better than I expected

Overall I think the blended pizza is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 if the regular pizza is 5 stars. Will I do this again? Yes I think I will do this probably daily it was incredible to eat something that wasn’t soup or protein drinks.

Urgent. I’m 2 weeks post op and getting hangryyy. I noticed one of these Costco cauliflower pizzas in my freezer and now I can’t stop thinking about it 🤤

On a scale of “idk could work” to “girl no”…should I blend it up?!? 😅
