Removing the infotainment

This is a general question regarding new cars.

Is there any resources online or does anyone have experience removing infotainment systems from new cars?
I would imaging this would entail doing a new ecu/tcu and hoping they fit with whatever car make and model you go with.

I am essentially curious if anyone is working on bringing buttons back and removing broken atm's from the dash board, while keeping performance and/or efficiency from newer engines and transmissions.

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, I looked through Google for a few minutes and couldn't find anything. Also, I know this will void warranty lmfao
