Moving to Leeds - must do things?

Hi guys! I'll be starting a job in Leeds in September and will be moving to Burley, so just wanted to ask if there are any places around there which you would say I should definitely check out? (Like pubs, food places, cafes, etc). I'd also welcome recommendations on city centre places too as I'll be spending a lot of time there as well! Oh and if there are any passionate gym goers here, some gym names would be greatly appreciated! I'm very nervous for the move but I want to make it work :)

Walking from and to Pisa Airport

Hi! I'm travelling tomorrow and I'll be having a 9h layover in Pisa. Whilst I'm an experienced traveller, I've never visited Pisa airport. I'd like to kill the layover time by going to the city centre. On google maps it says it should only be a 20 min walk. Has anyone walked it? If so, what's the best way to get to the centre by foot? (And also from centre to the airport?).

Central Lancaster High School 2014-2019

Hey there! I was recently looking at memories from when I attended CLHS from 2014-2019, but sadly I lost contact with 99% of the people. If there's anyone seeing this post who also attended the school during those years I'd love to chat about memories, teachers and just the school in general. Currently in my nostalgia era heh.

Starting a grad job - VERY SCARED

I got my offer for a grad scheme back in March. It starts in September and I've been doing a lot of onboarding forms with the firm, so it's all feeling real and close now. I'm excited but also so nervous. Has anyone recently started their first grad job after uni? what was it like? any tips?

Social Recommendations for a young proffesional?

Hi guys! I'll be moving to Leeds in September for a grad job. I'm in my early 20's and would love some recommendations on what to do in your free time in the city (i.e., good pubs, food, parks, activities, good gyms!!).

I also wanted to ask whether there are any other language enthusiasts here who could tell me whether there is a good language exchange club/meet-up organized in the city as I'm a bit of a language nerd! Any recommendations would be amazing. Can't wait to see what Leeds has to offer!!

Moving to Leeds

Hi everyone! I’ve posted on here before but now I’m getting close to starting my job in September and I’ve started properly looking for accommodation. I’m a recent graduate so I’m looking for areas where young professionals tend to live in that’s not too far from the city centre. So far the best options I’ve seen are in Burley and Headingley, as well as the centre itself. Anyone got any tips they can give me? Any other areas I should be looking into or avoid? Thank you so much!
