[Self] WIP large papermache Dragon

I am nearly done with this project. He is huge. Almost 8 feet end to end. Nothing left but a few details and then I am going to paint it Red and Gold. I started this several years ago and it became to much and I set it aside for long time. I decided not long ago that I had put in too much work in it to just give up. Constructive criticism welcomed.

My big dragon.

Well almost all the scales are finished. Now on to sculpt the face. Then hopefully I can start painting this weekend.

My Blue Dragon I made a few years ago.

I don't think I ever posted this dragon trophy I made in 2016 to this sub. Hard to believe it's been that long ago. I still have it in storage for now. Also my Dragon skull made near the same time.

Almost ready for paint

My big dragon is really getting close to time for painting. I am undecided about what color. Originally I was going with black and gold. Then I changed my mind and thought maybe Red a Gold. Idk what color to go with.

My big ass Dragon

Well this thing took me a few weeks to get over 1000 scales attached. On to the final sculpt then its paint time. I was going make it black but I have decided red and gold is going to be the colors.

So I am starting to work on some of the details for this huge dragon. Underside and the tail has consumed a good bit oftime this holiday weekend.

My work. This guy has been sitting unfinished for literally years. This piece is over 7 feet end to end. I made a frame to hang him from so I can finish his scales and details. Hopefully I can get him completed soon.
